Mind of Christ

Mind of Christ is a sermon series exploring the renewed life believers have in Christ through wisdom, transformation, spiritual understanding, and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Intellect, Part 1

Part of the “Mind of Christ” sermon series at The Father’s Fellowship Church. Part 2 coming on Sunday, May 17.

This week’s message focused on the renewed mind believers receive through Christ and the difference between human understanding and Godly wisdom.

Through passages like Romans 12:2 and 1 Corinthians 2:16, we were reminded that salvation brings spiritual transformation, including the ability to think differently through the mind of Christ. While education and knowledge have value, true wisdom comes from God and is revealed through the Holy Spirit.

The message explored several biblical examples — including Solomon, Daniel, Peter, and Jacob — showing how God gives wisdom, understanding, and direction beyond natural ability. Believers were encouraged not to depend solely on worldly systems or human reasoning, but to seek God’s wisdom through Scripture, prayer, and reverence for Him.

1 Corinthians 2 emphasized that spiritual truths cannot fully be understood apart from the Spirit of God. As believers grow in Christ and renew their minds through His Word, God continues to reveal deeper understanding, wisdom, and direction for life.
